Ambassador Dr. Pankaj Sharma visits the Indian Pavilion at PLASTIMAGEN Mexico 2022
 

The Plastics Export Promotion Council (PLEXCONCIL), the non-profit apex plastic export trade body sponsored by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, hosted the Indian Pavilion at PLASTIMAGEN at Mexico City from 8-11 March 2022.

Ambassador Dr. Pankaj Sharma and the Embassy officials along with the Executive Director, PLEXCONCIL Mr. Sribash Dasmohapatra, and its Regional Director (South) Mr. Ruban Hobday, visited the 5 Indian Exhibitors at the Indian Pavilion, which included representation from the following Indian plastic and polymer companies- Mindpower Procorn Pvt. Ltd., ISHAN International, APPL Industries Ltd., M PLAST India Ltd., Synthetic Packers Private Ltd.

Ambassador and the embassy officials interacted with the Indian participants and discussed the possibilities of increasing exports of plastic and polymer products in Mexico. During this exhibition, an MoU between Mexico´s Asociacion Nacional de Industrias del Plastico and India’s PLEXCONCIL and India-Mexico Business Chamber was also signed. This MoU is aimed at further strengthening bilateral cooperation and trade in the plastic sector.
