External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar today had a telephonic conversation with the Foreign Minister of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon and conveyed his interest in building on his last visit to Mexico in September 2021.

The Ministers discussed the Covid situation, trade prospects between the two nations, UN Security Council membership and on cooperation in G20.

EAM invited the Mexican Foreign Minister to visit India and expressed his hope to receive him and renew the traditional friendship between India and Mexico.
