Documents Required
 

Note: the list of documents is indicative and not exhaustive. Further information may be requested during review of application.

i) Online application form at  https://mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/  (select Mexico as country), duly filled and signed wherever applicable. Applicants are advised to go through the guidelines/instructions before filling the online application form.

ii) Old passport in original with photocopies of passport of applicant and both parents first, second and last page of passport & the page(s) containing passport officer´s observation (s) if any.

iii) Original Letter of employer in English, signed by the authorized signing authority of the company addressed to the Consular Officer, Embassy of India, Mexico City, stating date of appointment and position in the Company. In case of private business, copy of Company's registration with SAT. (In case of minor – letter from employer of mother or father).

iv) Original & copy of proof of legal residence in Mexico for both parents and the applicant i.e. FM3(Resident Permanent)/FM2 (Resident Temporary).

v) (a) Copy of proof of residential address in Mexico i.e. electricity, water, telephone bill in the name of applicant or any family member  (If utility bills are in the name of owner, then copy of owners Id is required)  or
(b) Copy of a lease deed /rent agreement with a copy of l owner’s Mexican ID.

vi) Annexure D to be filled by both parents.
To ensure the integrity of the minor’s application, the Embassy requires that both signatures on Annexure D be affixed in person before Consular Wing personnel or, alternatively, that the document be duly notarized. In cases where the parents do not reside in the same location, the notarization may be completed separately.

vii) Annexure E to be filled by Father/Mother.

viii) PP form – Personal Particular of the child to be completely filled by the parents.

ix) Two recent photographs with white back ground.

i) Applicant is required to fill all blank part of the application by blue/black pen after printing the application form. Signature/Thumb impression of the applicant should be clear and strictly within the box provided in the application form.

ii) Photographs- Two color photographs of size 2 inch X 2 inch with white background one pasted on the application form and other to be attached with the application.

iii) All copies submitted should be attested as : TRUE COPY signed by the applicant with date.

iv) Applicants who wish to complete their passport application entirely online may do so. However, they must send their printed application, together with all the required supporting documents, to the Embassy by postal or courier service. The package must also include a prepaid return DHL airway bill so that the new passport and the previous passport can be returned once the application has been successfully processed.

v) Passport in original is required to be sent through courier , all other documents only photocopies.
